The Qantas Airways Lockheed 1049C Constellation VH-EAG 'Southern Constellation' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having completed its final revenue service, a migrant charter flight from Malta.

The Ansett-ANA Fokker F.27-2013 Friendship VH-FNI operated its last service in the standard Ansett-ANA livery. It was then repainted into the Airlines of South Australia livery at Melbourne (Essendon) and named 'City of Whyalla' before commencing operations with them in May 1968.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 707-338C VH-EBT 'City of Bendigo' operated its final revenue service as Flight QF28 from Hong Kong (Kia Tak) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith). It was withdrawn from service having flown 37,492 hours with 14,033 cycles, which included 3,652 'touch-and-go'. It was then sold to the ITEL Corporation and prepared for delivery to Kuwait Airways.

The QantasLink Boeing 717-2BL VH-YQV entered service, operating Flight QF1510 from Canberra to Sydney (Kingsford Smith).

The QantasLink Boeing 717-2BL N928ME arrived at Adelaide (West Beach) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Jacksonville, Florida). It was reregisterd as VH-YQW and had special promotional decals applied to it during its pre-service maintenance. This aircraft was the last Boeing 717 built by McDonnell Douglas.

The National Jet Systems / QantasLink Boeing 717-2BL VH-YQU returned to service, operating Flight QF1545 from Brisbane to Canberra, following repairs and paint rectification work after it had been damaged at Brisbane on November 13, 2016 when it was struck by a wayward water tank that had been blown across the airport tarmac by strong winds.

The Alliance Airlines Embraer ERJ-190-100IGW N298JB arrived at Adelaide (West Beach) having completed its delivery flight from Costa Rica (San Jose) as Flight SXI2430. It was reregistered as VH-A2V before it entered service.
