The Air Pacific Boeing 747-238B DQ-FJI 'Island of Vanua Levu' operated its last passenger service as Flight FJ911 from Fiji (Nadi) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith). It was then returned to Qantas Airways at the end of its lease, before being re-registered as VH-EBQ on August 10.

The QantasLink Bombardier DHC-8-402NG C-GJKV arrived at Canberra having completed its delivery flight from Canada (Toronto / Downsview) as Flight DHC1. It was reregistered as VH-LQF on August 16.

The Virgin Australia Boeing 737-8FE VH-YIA 'Henley Beach' was ferried from Christchurch (New Zealand) to Brisbane as Flight DJ9063. Three days later it was ferried from Brisbane to Melbourne (Tullamarine) as Flight DJ9062 prior to its entry into service.

The QantasLink Bombardier DHC-8-315Q VH-SBJ was ferried from Adelaide (West Beach) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith) following its repaint into the airline's 'New Roo' livery. It returned to service later that day operating Flight QF2018 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Armidale.
