The Qantas Airways Boeing 707-138 VH-EBB 'City of Sydney' departed Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on its ferry flight to the United States (Seattle, Renton) for conversion to a Boeing 707-138B standard by Boeing. At the time of this conversion the aircraft had flown some 6,350 hours.
