The impact left a large gash in the fuselage underside near the nose

Repairs were carried out on-site and the aircraft was then ferried to Seattle for the repainting of the forward fuselage

It arrived at Wellington on completion of the ferry flight - May 07, 2003

Ferried Wellington - Auckland (Whenuapai) - May 07, 2003
