This accident was the result of the nose gear failing to lock into position for landing

During landing roll the starboard main landing gear collapsed

This caused extensive damage to the starboard wing, engine and airframe

It was repaired including the fitting of a new starboard wing before aircraft re-entered service

Officially cancelled from the Dutch Aircraft Register - April 05, 1960

Returned to Trans-Australia Airlines at the end of lease - December 09, 1960
