The aircraft had been airborne for just on 27 seconds before it touched down on the runway Overrunning the end of the runway at 62 kts it crossed the perimeter road and came to rest after the nose gear collapsed There were no fatalities to the 44 people who were in the aircraft Breaking up of the aircraft commenced on site - June 15, 1998 Cancelled from the British Aircraft Register - July 27, 1998 |
